Mr Buckle is a Consultant Hip and Knee surgeon practicing in Kent & East Sussex. He specialises in the management of hip and knee conditions in adults.
Mr Buckle's surgical expertise is hip and knee joint replacement surgery. This includes partial and total partial joint replacements and re-do (revision) surgeries for painful, problematic, or infected joint replacements.
Mr Buckle initially trained and worked as a physiotherapist prior to his surgical career. This unique experience allows him to offer a holistic and team-based approach to your care and enables him to guide patients through all aspects of your treatment.

Mr Buckle is an Orthopaedic Consultant specialising in hip and knee surgery. His clinical expertise encompasses the management of degenerative hip and knee conditions and the management of problematic, painful, and failing hip and knee replacements.
Mr Buckle joined the team in East Sussex following consultant appointments at the renowned Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford, and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, London. He graduated from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine in 2009, where he was awarded Proximae Accessit to the University of London Gold Medal. He went on to complete his orthopaedic higher surgical training in London and the South-East of England, undertaking further specialist fellowship training at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford.
Mr Buckle studied and worked as a physiotherapist before embarking upon a career in medicine. The knowledge and skills he gained during this time continue to benefit his clinical practice and has helped him cultivate a holistic, team-based approach to patient care.
